Wide Awake

How pain can consume a person. How pain can blind a person. How great love can be, it can't compare to how great pain can be. The higher you are, the harder you fall. Trust me, it's never a million fluffy pillows at the end of the fall. However, it does depend on your strength and will power to pull yourself together and come back up in one piece.

Yes, putting yourself back together wouldn't be the same as you were before you fell. You'll have cracks, tapes and glues here and there. Nothing can fill up those empty spaces of your remains. No matter how hard you try, they just fall off. They don't fit and they definitely do not last. It's difficult, honestly it's nearly impossible.

Pain isn't something you can just heal from. There's no on and off switch for this. Words can't comfort what's already broken and it definitely do not make things any better. Phrases such as "You'll get over it" or "Move on already" doesn't work as easy as it's said. Pain is certainly not something you can just snap out off. It takes time, it takes a lot of time.

Now, I can't tell you how to deal with your pain nor will I ever understand the amount of pain you're in. But remember this, I am broken too. I took a fall too. Everyone does. All broken people ever want is to feel accepted. To feel like they're not all alone because everyone has shits they have to deal with too. Yes, we all want to feel worthy, worthy of love.

No one's pain is more superior than the other. So don't push away people who are willing to be there for you with open arms. Yes, you never asked them to but it's their choice. Let them be there for you. Be kind, be humble, be gentle. The world needs more of that right now. Till then.
